Grooming & Wellness Services

Our bathing service includes a gentle, thorough wash using high-quality, holistic, pet-safe shampoos—plus seasonal scents to keep things fun and fresh throughout the year.  Our bathing bays have an extendable ramp, so dogs can walk right in with ease.  We  NEVER use heated dryers; instead, every dog is carefully air dried with the help of a box fan at room temperature to ensure their comfort and safety. This thoughtful approach leaves your dog’s coat clean, soft, and healthy without added stress.

Our grooming services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each dog—and each pet parent.  Even with decades of experience grooming a wide variety of breeds and styles, we take an individualized approach and always consult with you to achieve the look you envision for your pup. Our grooming table gently raises and lowers to make it easier and more comfortable for dogs to get on and off, especially those with mobility concerns. We offer a de-shedding add-on for heavy coats and apply a small additional charge for matted fur due to the extra time and care required. Pricing is based on the size of your dog and the condition of their coat.

Keeping your dog’s nails trimmed isn’t just about appearance—it’s essential for their comfort and mobility. Long nails can cause discomfort when walking and may lead to joint issues over time, not to mention accidental scratches to you or your furniture. At Mountain View Grooming, we take a gentle, patient approach to nail care, using clippers and a grinder when tolerated to achieve a smooth, safe finish. We always work at your dog’s pace to make the experience as stress-free as possible.

Dental care plays a vital role in your dog’s overall health. Clean teeth and healthy gums not only freshen breath and keep your pup more comfortable, but they also help prevent serious health issues, such as heart disease, that can result from untreated dental problems. We offer a basic teeth cleaning service, or you can upgrade to our PlaqClnz system, which is specially designed to significantly reduce plaque and tartar buildup for improved long-term oral health.

Add a Pop of Color for Your Posh Pup!

Fur dyeing is a fun way to show off your dog’s unique personality!  We use only certified pet-safe dyes from trusted brands like Opawz Coloring and Crazy Liberty. Choose from our colorful packages for ears & tail or ears, tail & feet—perfect for a bold statement or a subtle splash of flair. Coloring services are currently available on Sundays and Mondays with our grooming specialist, Haley. For dogs with dark fur (black or brown), a bleach-free, pet-safe lightening step is required before applying color and does come with an additional charge. Let your dog shine in style with a look as fun and fabulous as they are!

Thoughtfully Designed for All Dogs

At Mountain View Grooming, our facility is thoughtfully designed to accommodate dogs of all sizes, ages, and mobility levels. An outdoor ramp provides easy access to our lobby, and inside, each bathing sink features an extendable ramp so dogs can walk comfortably into the bathing bay. Our grooming tables also raise and lower with the press of a button, making it easier for dogs—especially seniors or those with limited mobility—to get on and off safely and stress-free.

Dangers of Heated Drying

At Mountain View Grooming, your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. That’s why we never use heated dryers during any part of the grooming process. Heated dryers can pose serious risks to dogs, including overheating, skin irritation, burns, and even heatstroke.

Safe, Effective Method

We use only room-temperature box fans in well-ventilated areas to gently and safely air dry your dog. This low-stress method keeps your pet comfortable while ensuring their coat dries naturally and evenly. You can have peace of mind knowing your dog is in a calm, safe environment every step of the way.

Dangers of Server Matting

Matted fur isn’t just unsightly—it can be extremely harmful to your dog’s health and comfort. Mats prevent proper air circulation to the skin, creating the perfect environment for hot spots, bacterial infections, and fungal growth. The tangled hair also pulls tightly on the skin, causing pain, irritation, and sometimes severe inflammation underneath. At Mountain View Grooming, we use professional-grade clippers and a gentle, skilled approach to safely remove mats and help restore your dog’s comfort and well-being.

Extra Time & Attention Requires Additional Fee

Because matted coats require significantly more time, care, and precision to address safely, an additional fee applies for dogs with excessive matting. We take great care to remove mats gently and thoroughly, minimizing discomfort and avoiding unnecessary stress or injury to your pet. Our goal is always to prioritize your dog’s well-being, and that means taking the extra steps necessary to handle matted fur with the attention it deserves.
