A lifelong animal lover, Violetta Deymann brings over 20 years of dog grooming experience to Mountain View Grooming. Her career began in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked with national pet care companies like PetSmart and Petco, completing formal grooming training and gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. After relocating to the serene Union Hall and Smith Mountain Lake area over a decade ago, Violetta combined her professional expertise with her passion for animals to open a cozy, community-oriented grooming facility. Mountain View Grooming quickly became a beloved local staple, known for its welcoming atmosphere and deeply personalized care.

Violetta’s gentle nature, patience, and genuine love for animals have won the hearts of countless clients—many of whom have become lifelong patrons. In addition to grooming, she also spent years as a registered breeder of Yorkshire Terriers, an experience that further deepened her commitment to canine health and happiness. Always striving to expand her knowledge and care offerings, Violetta has most recently introduced red light therapy to her grooming services. This holistic, non-invasive treatment is a natural fit with her approach to animal wellness and provides her rural community with access to an advanced healing option that supports comfort, mobility, and overall vitality in dogs.

When she’s not tending to her four-legged clients, Violetta enjoys spending time with her horses and soaking in the peaceful countryside. Her dedication, compassion, and expertise have made her a trusted resource for families throughout the region seeking high-quality, loving care for their pets.

History of Mountain View Grooming

Mountain View Grooming was founded by Violetta Deymann over a decade ago with a single grooming room and a passion for providing gentle, personalized care to local dogs. As the business quickly grew, so did the facility—expanding to include a second grooming room, a second groomer, and outdoor areas where dogs can relax on nice days. Over the years, the space has been thoughtfully upgraded with new flooring, modern equipment, and most recently, the addition of a state-of-the-art red light therapy booth to further support canine wellness.
